Assessment data on problems experienced by IDP women in the employment process has been finally published
The aim of the research was to define problems that women in general and IDP women specifically have faced in employment process during the past year in Ukraine and carry out a preliminary assessment of such problems. During the research that started on November 2016 and ended on March 2017, 12 focus groups and 600 telephone interviews were conducted in Kyiv, Dnipro and Kramatorsk.
Due to the aggregated data, the factors of the employment market, principal problems with the employment of women, specifically IDP women, the fears and risks identified by women in the employment process, as well as the discriminatory factors in job search were defined. This research enabled to formulate 5 key analytical takeaways that should be useful for NGOs working with IDPs.
