Good Talk Friday with Andrey Kurkov: “Russia and Ukraine: writers and politics”

Ukraine NGO Forum recently has hosted another lecture in the series “Good Talk Friday.” This time with famous Ukrainian writer, Andriy Kurkov, the author of 18 novels, including the bestselling Death and the Penguin, seven books for children, and about 20 documentary, fiction, and TV movie scripts. His work is currently translated into 35 languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Swedish and Hebrew, and published in 65 countries. His books are full of post-Soviet black humor.

“Good Talk Friday” is a series of thought-provoking and pertinent short lectures on relevant and sometimes provocative topics for Forum members and donors in an informal setting followed by an interactive discussion. The event is open to donors and Ukraine NGO Forum members.
