Position: Community Coordinator and Logistics organizer

The employee’s responsibilities:

  • coordinates and is responsible for the implementation of the Community-project at the local level;
  • regularly visits the project implementation sites, collects relevant information from local communities (needs, problems), evaluates progress, monitors its timely implementation and reports the results to the Program Manager;
  • Studying the humanitarian situation within its competence and using the collected information to improve the implementation of the project goals;
  • monitoring and controlling the implementation of the project on-site, assists project staff and reports to the Program Manager;
  • coordinates the work of all staff involved in a community support project, including project volunteers;
  • participates in the evaluation of potential projects;
  • Provides information on the preparation of project proposals;
  • is responsible for compiling documents and project reports;
  • prepares appropriate trainings and conducts them according to needs;
  • together with the monitoring staff, is evaluating the projects for the purpose of planning and controlling the results;
  • provides procurement, supply and logistic support of the department;
  • maintaining and providing accounting and financial reporting, including contracts, donation contracts, etc.;
  • establishes and maintains active links with local partners, local authorities and other NGOs, informs the community, cooperates with the authorities;
  • monitors and controls the implementation of the project at the locations, reports to the Program Manager;
  • participates in the compilation of documents and reports;
  • Carries out other duties upon the order of the project manager


Skills (PC, etc.) and knowledge:

  • PC skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • Excellent spoken and written English
