The information about all NGOs of Donbas is presented now on www.ngomap.org.ua!

Almost 200 NGOs are presented on www.ngomap.org.ua at the moment. They represent  international, national and regional organizations from different sectors, based in Donbas (including NGCA) and provide assistance  to all kinds of people in need. During next 3 months Ukraine NGO Forum plans  to scale up the database and include information about NGOs from Kharkiv, Zaporizhya and Dnipro.

This web portal enables you to filter by location, keywords, type of NGO and its main activities, target groups of beneficiaries, experience as well as number of employees and sources of funding. The information is available in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

www.ngomap.org.ua was developed by Ukraine NGO Forum in partnership with Donetsk press club with the financial support of British Embassy in Kyiv and USAID. The goal of creating this interactive mapping is  to improve coordination among donors, international and national NGOs, volunteers and civil society in general. Map developers also believe the information about existing NGOs will be relevant for media as well as NGO beneficiaries.

The unique feature of this web portal is the way of aggregating information. NGOs themselves had provided the information via online form, which was then  verified and revised by phone. Collection of the information and development of the web page lasted for 5 months. Now www.ngomap.org.ua is released in a testing mode, for this very reason we are kindly asking you to notify us about any possible inaccuracies and data looseness.  The process of data collection is ongoing so we encourage you to apply for being placed on the map.
