Advocacy Coordinator – MdM

The Advocacy Coordinator leads the design of the advocacy strategy for the Ukraine mission as well as designs and implements the annual advocacy action plan. He/She is in charge of coaching and managing the Advocacy Officer. He/She is also playing a strong role in external communication, especially communication in media. Advocacy in MDM is evidenced-based, meaning that we rely on our field work to build our advocacy messages. Therefore, the Advocacy Coordinator is in close relation with the field team, in particular regarding data collection and reporting. Considering that different organizations (both national and international) are involved in advocacy in Ukraine, and that MdM is part of a Consortium with a strong advocacy component, coordination and a participatory approach is an essential component of the position.







Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer

The MEAL Officer role is to provide essential support to Save the Children’s MEAL department which is a part of the SCI’s Program Development & Quality. The selected candidate must play a great role in testing, implementing new tools that support programmes in monitoring, evaluation and assessments. Furthermore, he/she is set to build capacity of other MEAL staff and deliver against Save the Children’s operating standards. MEAL Officer will support the MEAL Coordinator in strengthening monitoring and evaluations systems in place to ensure that SCI programmes are implemented in a quality manner and are accountable to beneficiaries and donors. The position will assist in MEAL system design as well as support in proposal writing and logframe development.

The MEAL Coordinator’s role is to provide essential support to Save the Children’s programmes by supporting the quality assurance system, build capacity at field level to deliver against Save the Children’s operating standards and to support the development of proposals and programme. He/She will ensure strong monitoring and evaluations systems and harness staff capacity to ensure that SCI programmes are implemented in a quality manner and are accountable to beneficiaries and donors. Further, the MEAL Coordinator will be expected to lead on MEAL system design and implementation, evaluations, assessments, MEAL budgeting, and recruitment. The MEAL Coordinator will support the Programs Development and Quality Manager to develop strong evidence-based proposals and logframe.

Education Senior Officer – Save the Children

The Education Senior Officer will be responsible for effective coordination and implementation of the programmes ensuring the quality of Save the Children’s programme intervention in the Ukraine. With close support from the Senior Coordinator, the Education Senior Officer will be responsible for the delivery, monitoring and reporting of programme and activities. S/he will work closely with the Technical Managers and the Senior Coordinator to ensure that activities are rapid, relevant, technically sound and proportionate to the need of the beneficiaries.., the Education Senior Officer will create a positive working environment; ensuring that the Education Officers receive the guidance and support required to accomplish their tasks. The post holder will participate in the assessment and evaluation of the situation. Additionally, the Education Senior Officer will take an active role in coordination and representation of Save the Children’s activities with other humanitarian and government agencies and civil society. This may include field level technical coordination meetings with other humanitarian and government services.

Logistics/Security Officer NGCA Ukraine – MdM

On the mission level, the Logistics/Security officer NGCA supports the implementation and supervision of all logistics tasks linked with the implementation of activities NGCA. He/she is part of the Logistics team based in Severodonetsk and works with the program and support departments to ensure compliance with MdM logistics procedures in terms of procurement, transportation, safety, equipment and inventory management. He/she ensures the proper functioning of field equipment.
