Welcome back to Good Talk Friday!

For Ukraine NGO Forum it has become a good tradition to held Good Talk Friday initiative that gathers key humanitarian stakeholders together in one place.

On December 15 we invited our members, representatives of respective embassies, our partners and good friends to take part in another special Christmas Good Talk Friday (GTF).

GTF is a series of thought-provoking and pertinent, often provocative, short lectures on relevant topics organized in an informal setting and followed by an interactive discussion.

This time we invited  Ian Bateson, who spoke on the topic: ‘Life after Lenin: Ukraine’s Next Top Hero’. Ian Bateson is a foreign correspondent based in Ukraine. He has reported for Foreign Policy, the New York Times and the Guardian in Ukraine and previously for Reuters in Russia. He was the founding anchor on Hromadske International’s Sunday Show, and is a former Fulbright and DAAD scholar. Bateson holds master’s degrees from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and the Free University of Berlin, and a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. He is working on a book about Ukrainian identity after the Maidan revolution.

The informal setting of GTF led to a stimulating exchange of views, and several important and useful ideas and suggestions were put forward that could facilitate the work of humanitarian community in Ukraine.

Ukraine NGO Forum team works diligently to provide a wide range of activities exclusively for our members. Monthly General Coordination meetings at national and regional level, HR/Finance/Admin/Advocacy/Communication meetings, various trainings and educational events, networking events – all these activities are designed to provide the best world practices and create new opportunities for Ukraine NGO Forum members.
